Facelift surgery is performed to address facial aging on the lower and middle portions of the face. A brow lift addresses forehead wrinkles and furrows between the brows. Neck lift surgery addresses visible aging on the neck. While these surgical procedures are great at treating age-related imperfections on specific facial features, there is not a single surgical procedure that can target all of these areas at once. This is where a non-surgical liquid facelift comes in. Unlike traditional surgery, a liquid facelift uses the injection of dermal fillers and other substances to address all areas of the face from the forehead to the neck. This non-surgical procedure offers complete facial rejuvenation with no downtime.

The non-surgical liquid facelift is a procedure that addresses visible signs of aging across the face, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and volume loss. The series of facial injections that will be used for your treatment will depend on your individual needs and degree of facial aging.
A liquid facelift combines cosmetic injections depending on the individual’s need for additional volume enhancement or wrinkle reduction. Other injectable treatments that can be used for a liquid facelift include:

Since no incisions are made, no downtime is associated with a liquid facelift. These injections result in minimal bruising and swelling that resolves itself within three to five days. You may be asked in for a follow-up appointment within five to seven days.
The liquid facelift procedure is not surgical and involves no downtime. This includes no limitation when it comes to exercise routines. You can continue your regular activities immediately after treatment.
The results of your liquid facelift will become apparent within one month, though some formulations may begin to show results immediately following treatment. Unlike traditional cosmetic surgeries, a non-surgical liquid facelift will not be permanent. Traditionally, BOTOX® Cosmetic lasts between three and four months, Restylane® and other hyaluronic acid fillers last between nine months and one year, and Sculptra® Aesthetic can last up to two years. The longevity of these results will depend on the patient and how their body responds to the treatment. While not permanent, you can enjoy the rejuvenating effects for months on end, and repeat treatments as often as necessary.

To allow for the highest quality results (paired with the highest level of safety), we recommend that you stop smoking at least four weeks before and after your treatment. We also require that you stop taking aspirin products, ibuprofen, and herbal supplements at least one week before your injections. You may still take Vitamin C and arnica/bromelain tablets as they will help minimize any post-injection bruising and swelling.
Most of these injections only require a single session to reach optimal results. A follow-up appointment is typically not necessary until you decide to touch up the procedure a few months down the line. Sculptra® Aesthetic often requires multiple sessions. Patients may need anywhere between one and four treatments, but three treatments are required on average.
The cost of your liquid facelift treatment will depend on the number and volume of injections you receive. During your consultation with Dr. Mendieta, you will be provided with an accurate cost estimate. Even with multiple injections, however, the cost of a liquid facelift will be less than facelift surgery. Surgery requires additional fees such as anesthesia, surgical, and facility fees, and the procedures themselves are more expensive. Financing options are available.
