BOTOX® Cosmetic is an injectable treatment that is made using a form of Botulinum toxin A, a toxin produced naturally by a certain bacteria. When injected under the skin, the toxin blocks signals between the nerves and muscles to essentially “freeze” them in place, preventing them from creasing and smoothing out wrinkles.

Botox Recovery Time
