What is Restylane Used for?
Restylane injections can be used to treat a wide range of cosmetic concerns. You may be a candidate for treatments if you struggle with:

How Do Restylane Injections Work?
As an injectable treatment, Restylane® is easy to administer. Most patients can complete treatment sessions within an hour with little to no side effects afterward.
Step 1: Cleanse Injection Site
The target area is cleansed and swiped with an antibacterial solution to prep it for its injection. A topical numbing solution may be used to minimize discomfort.
Step 2: Administer Injection
The Restylane® treatment is administered to the target area via injection. Restylane® Silk treatments use a smaller, finer type of gel and an ultra-fine needle for higher accuracy when administering treatments.
Step 3: Cleanse Again and Recover
The treated area is cleansed again before the patient is released to allow for recovery.
How Long is Recovery for Restylane?
After 24 hours: There may be mild side effects like swelling, redness, pain, bruising, headache, or itching at the injection site.
After 2-3 days: Symptoms should start to subside. Patients should take care to avoid too much sun exposure as they heal.
After 1 week: Discomfort has typically faded away for most areas (lips may experience symptoms for over two weeks after treatment).
How Long Does it Take to See Results from Restylane®?
The effects of Restylane® treatments are almost immediately noticeable after swelling has gone down. Restylane® offers enhancement that looks natural, avoiding an overdone look.
Most Restylane® treatments can last up to a year or longer.
