In his quest to master the art and science of cosmetic surgery, Dr. DeSouza has been instrumental in developing and refining innovative surgical techniques. His signature Point of Elevation Tissue (PET) Face Lift is a non-invasive solution for patients who wish to address mild to moderate facial aging but aren’t yet ready to undergo a traditional facelift. He is also recognized for his skill in performing Brazilian Butt Lift and Skinny BBL procedures.

Experience and Education
Dr. DeSouza graduated from the prestigious Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil and spent several years training in surgery as a resident and fellow. When he came to the U.S., he spent nearly 10 years as a resident and fellow in general and plastic surgery, as well as earning his Master’s degree in Medicine and Surgery.
His years spent in practice and training have given Dr. DeSouza an in-depth understanding of human anatomy. In fact, because of his expertise, he has held several leadership positions, including Chief of Plastic Surgery and Medical Director of hospitals in both Brazil and the United States. He is also training the next generation of surgeons as a Professor of Anatomy in Plastic Surgery at Miami Anatomical Research Center.
